U.S. Military Genuine M-43 HBT Jacket

M1943 Herringbone Twill Jacket, the origin of the US military utility shirt.
13-star buttons, excluding the resin button on the back of the collar.
With a gas flap.

This is a women's M43 HBT shirt, a model I didn't even know existed.
The front buttons are on the left side.
The gas flap is on the opposite side of the standard model, on the right side when worn.
The size tag is in red letters.
The collar is narrow.
The chest pockets are small and without gussets.
There are darts under the pockets and on the back, creating a shaped waistline.
Both sides have slits, and the design is specifically for female soldiers, differing from the men's version.

Based on the specifications, it's from the mid-1940s.
The paint on the 13-star buttons, the buttonholes, and the wear on the collar don't show much sign of use, and judging from the fading, it appears to be unused or in near-mint condition.
There is no damage that would affect wear, other than age-related deterioration.

The shoulder width is narrow, but it seems to fit a slender man who doesn't mind the left-side buttons.
There is no record of similar items being sold on auctions or major shops to date.
It is likely a valuable collector's item.
