Here’s the delusional story behind this delusional purchase. If you wear DMs, you know they run a bit big. I saw these puppies on DMs site and had to have them so, I called every store in NYC to see who had a size 9. Of course no one did. So, I figured if I sized down, they’d just be a perfect fit and I could make it work. I snatched the 8 (November 2023) and proudly handed the Union Square location $200+. I wore them the next day thinking these ‘perfect fit’ would be cool for the few times I would wear them… …WRONG. …WRONG. I got off at Union Square, walked to my store on 21st, took them off and they’ve sat under my desk in my office for nearly a year.
So, I present to you a pair of DMs—worn from Brooklyn to Union Square and a 6 block walk. Now, they are dust collectors. Size 8.
